COREY WONG
Co-Founder
Corey co-founded the organization as a sophomore in high school alongside Nesty after realizing a need for more easily accessible financial aid and literacy resources.
He currently attends Northeastern University under a merit-based scholarship and majors in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering.
In the past, he’s worked as a State Assistant Director of Community Service for Future Business Leaders of America, Treasurer for the National Honor Society, Local President of Bring Change 2 Mind, and President of Junior Statesmen of America.
Outside of work and academics, he enjoys playing tennis, going out with friends, spending time with his family and two dogs, and working on his stock portfolio.
NESTY DOGBATSE
Co-Founder
Nesty is a freshman at Villanova University. During her high school years, she found it incredibly difficult to find scholarships to apply to as a high schooler and had nobody to help her because she was a first-generation student.
She teamed up with Corey to make scholarship information more accessible.

Currently, Nesty is majoring in Mathematics, and planning on either double majoring or minoring in Computer Science. In high school, Nesty was class president, an active member of her school’s marching band, and vice president of her school’s STEM Club.

In her free time, she loves to hang out with her friends, listen to music, and collect CDs.
MAHIN PATEL
President
Mahin is a senior at the Old Bridge High School. As of now, Mahin wishes to make a career in the hospitality industry and wants to become a successful hotel franchisee owner in the future.
Throughout his high school career, he looked for opportunities to benefit him in his future career path. It lead to him taking the initiative in and out of his high school. From selling tickets for almost every school event, being Chairman of Funding for FBLA, to also being Treasurer of the Asian American Club, he actively involves himself in his school community.
Alongside school activities, he also worked as an assistant at a local hotel to attain experience for his future career interest. In Mahin’s free time, he loves spending time with his friends, likes listening to music, and loves reselling shoes and clothes.
ANIKA ADUSUMILLI
Chief Financial Officer
Anika Adusumilli is a senior in Old Bridge High School and the Chief Financial Officer. She has co-organized an annual career fair for her school and continues to organize events and charities as the VP of Service for NHS.
Anika also volunteers at the library and Just4kixs, a local program where you play soccer with special needs kids.
Outside of school, Anika loves to travel and go on long walks on nature trails. Her two favorite places she’s traveled are Florence, Italy and Peru. She also loves to read, write, and solve any type of puzzles.
DANNY KIM
Chief Legal Compliance Officer
Danny Kim, a plebe at the United States Military Academy at West Point, is proud to serve on the board of executives. His finance journey began as a junior in high school where he served on the board of directors in Financing Our Futures, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing financial literacy to high schoolers and college students.
Since becoming a member, he has published three articles and won the President's Volunteer Service Award through the organization. Since attending West Point, Danny has joined the Finance Club as part of the Personal Finance Team specializing in Real Estate. He serves to educate other cadets about financial understanding as well as attends speaker events from notable institutions.
Outside of Financing our Futures and Finance Club, he is a part of the American Society of Engineering Management, competes for his company in the Sandhurst military skills competition, and is a part of a research groups under the chemistry and life science department and the systems engineering department.
NADA MAHMOUD
Chief Research Officer
Nada Mahmoud, a student at Rutgers University, standing as the former Director of Research for Post Secondary Resources and current Chief Research Officer Nada’s journey with Financing Our Futures started during her sophomore year, where she knew that it would be a great way to easily help students in need of finding post secondary resources. Her experience within FOF includes posting multiple articles, while supervising and recruiting other writers to do the same. The primary goal was to ensure students had knowledge about what kinds of finances they are expected to pay based on where they end up for post secondary education, and what resources are available to help them do so through these articles. Aside FOF, Nada was proudly apart of her student government and enjoyed participating in various organizations as well. Red Cross, FBLA, and Honor Societies were of great importance to her alongside Financing Our Futures during high school. As of now, Nada is majoring in Data Science at Rutgers University. She has always had interest in the field of technology, and would like to concentrate in IT Analytics. Outside of university, her interests include conducting further research on the stock market and advancement in technology. She plans to apply her knowledge from these topics in continuously helping others while traveling around the world. In her free time, she’ll also direct her focus towards her favorite hobbies, such as playing soccer with her friends and family or partaking in traveling.
KATIE MA
Chief Communication Officer
Katie is a freshman at the University of Maryland where they study Sociology with intentions to double major in Neuroscience on the Pre-Medicine track. They currently are in the Carillon Communities program with a focus on Health Justice. In high school, Katie served as Cultural Chair and Dance Leader for their Vietnamese Student Association, Secretary of Key Club, and participated in Treble Choir. Katie also enjoys singing, exploring new restaurant or cafe spots, and making new connections. Throughout Katie’s experience of searching for financial aid, they found that the process was intimidating. Katie noticed that it was difficult because of, for example, possible knowledge gaps in financial literacy. Because of this, they aim to make seeking and receiving financial aid more accessible to other students through Financing our Futures.
SABRINA LA
Chief Marketing Officer
Sabrina is a senior at Emerson High School in Frisco Texas. She plans to major in Finance at the University of Washington, Seattle. Throughout her life, she has dealt with issues in family income, making it difficult for her to afford university. She struggled finding financial aid resources, and knew she needed to find a solution to help others in similar situations.
Sabrina has been with Financing our Futures from its start, as an Intern, Director of Marketing, and now currently works as Chief Marketing Officer. In school, she is actively involved with balancing her academics and extra curricular activities. Over her high school career, she has taken over 10 AP courses, earning 4’s and 5’s in nearly all of them. She is currently in band and marching band and plays clarinet and bass clarinet, where she has been to several local, state, and national competitions. Outside of academics, she has a part-time job at a local restaurant to help her parents. She loves jazz music, Kpop, going out with friends, and spending time with her dog, Toby.
PARITA KHATRI
Chief Programs Officer
Parita is a current senior at the Old Bridge High School. During her high school she looked for different opportunities to benefit her in her college search. It lead her to take on a range of activies throughout her time at Old Bridge, acting as the Secretary of National Honor Society and Environmental club and Chairman of Funding for FBLA.
Alongside in school axtivies she also participated in a accounting internship outside of school and various volunteer programs. Currently Parita wishes to purse a major is accounting to go in to become a CPA and work toward business. She loves to read, hang out with her friends and family, while also spending time alone.
